The 8th Annual Down East Brew Conference will take place in Fredericton, NB, bringing together participants from the craft beer industry, including brewers, suppliers, and researchers. This premier event focuses on knowledge-sharing to drive innovation and enhance product quality. It is a vital professional resource as the only technical brewing conference in Atlantic Canada.

This year’s conference will span two days:

    •    Day 1 March 6th, 2025: Technical aspects of brewing and brewery operations.

    •    Day 2 March 7th, 2025: Business strategies and industry trends.

The Down East Brewing Awards 2025 is a prestigious celebration of brewing excellence hosted by the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival. Here’s what you need to know:

• Judging: Beer entries will be evaluated by industry professionals, brewers, and certified judges, ensuring a fair and expert assessment.

• Eligibility: The competition is open to any beer produced by a licensed brewery in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, Gaspé, and the New England states.

• Showcase: Winners will be highlighted at the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival, where more than 2,000 attendees can sample award-winning beers.

• Awards Reception: An exclusive event will take place in Fredericton on March 6, 2025, to honour the winners and celebrate the region’s vibrant brewing culture.

The Fredericton Craft Beer Festival was launched in 2013 and has quickly become one of the premier festivals in Atlantic Canada. Each year, FCBF brings together the largest selection of local beer available on the East Coast. Since it was founded, FCBF has grown exponentially and hosted sold-out events that have grown and evolved right along with the industry.

The goal of the Fredericton Craft Beer Festival is to promote and showcase the diverse beers that make craft brewing one of the fastest-growing trends in the beverage industry.
